We are programmed for repetition.
If you live life on auto-pilot, you will not reach your potential.
And potential doesn’t mean financial success and fame.
It means finding out who you are at the core and living aligned to that.
Most of us have shape-shifted to fit into our environments.
We have been conditioned to survive and live through the expectations of others.
This is heavily reflected in our choices, beliefs and thinking patterns.
To reach your authentic potential, you’ll have to become more conscious of your thoughts.
Changing the way you think will change the way you live.

We underestimate the importance of thoughts.
They carry an energy to them.
Positive thinking and optimism carry a higher vibrational frequency.
Put time into breaking down these negative thoughts.
Challenge them as they surface to the present moment.
Accepting negative emotions is different to challenging negative thoughts
The first step to overcoming old ways of thinking is to acknowledge and accept the emotions & thoughts that pop up.
They can be uncontrollable. So try to avoid spending your time guilting yourself for feeling and thinking certain ways.
Learn that the way you react to your emotions is more important than the emotional itself.
Managing your emotions as they surface is the key to reaching your authentic potential.
Why do I think this way? What belief underpins why I think like this? What else could be feeding this emotion I am feeling?
There are so many self-regulation techniques that will be pivotal to breaking down the chains of the old-self as you evolve.
The authentic evolution is a long-journey and may last a life-time, but it will be worth it.

Thoughts do not equal thinking.
We have thousands of thoughts a day, some suggest even up to 60,000.
Having these thoughts does not mean you have processed them.
We often accept thoughts as facts without a rigorous examination of them.
Thoughts do not equal thinking, especially critical thinking.
As you become more self-aware, you will begin to critically break-down automatic negative thought patterns.
Self-awareness will be a blessing and a curse. You will begin to analyse every aspect of yourself and may feel a range of negative emotions.
As you go through this authentic evolution, you will have to incorporate self-compassion.
A kindness and acceptance of yourself.
An understanding that no one is perfect and giving yourself an appreciation for the work you’re now putting in.
