Wounds and Why’s

1 Quote

“Our wounds and our gifts are next door neighbours” – Vienna Pharaon

A reminder that the things that make us most special often arise from a painful place.

It doesn’t mean we need to express gratitude to the pain we endured.

It is a simple recognition that something positive has come from the negativity.

1 Idea

Make your why cry.

The reason we do something is so important for two main reasons.

1. Success without fulfilment is the ultimate failure – Tony Robbins – motivational speaker

If your why is not aligned to your authentic self, then it won’t fulfil you.

Not only is this a waste of time but a missed opportunity for joy.

Imagine spending years, if not decades chasing a version of success to realise it meant nothing.

2. You will give up when it gets hard

When things get tough, that’s when you find out if it really matters to you.

If your why truly matters to you, it would make you cry or some

A strong why is the fuel for the fire when motivation starts burning out.

At the core of your actions, a strong why is the glue to your discipline.
